A natural liver support. Liver Tonic is a homeopathic and herbal blend designed specifically to support the normal immune response of an animal suffering from impaired liver function, general ill health, digestion and metabolic problems.  Great as a liver support especially when an animal is suffering from liver disease or for those wanting to give their cat or dog a liver cleanse.

The liver is the one organ in the body which can regenerate itself.  With the impact of today’s environment including processed foods, vaccinations, chemical fleaing / worming, antibiotics and everyday toxins that our pets come into contact with, it is no wonder that their livers get over loaded.  Everything that goes into the mouth, onto the skin or injected goes through the liver and has to be processed.  The liver becomes overloaded and sluggish, resulting in a pet that can show signs of being over weight, lethargic, have constipation or diarrhoea, agitated, restless or panting, sleeplessness, acid reflux, anal gland problems and food or environmental allergies.  All pets will benefit from a liver support at least once a year.

Liver Tonic is designed to help support the normal immune response of the liver with its filtering of the blood, production of bile and elimination of toxins from the body.

Directions

Liver Tonic comes in a liquid form, as we find this is the easiest way to administer.

It is preferred that it is put straight into the mouth of the animal making sure not to contaminate the dripper. This can be done by adding the drops to a teaspoon, lifting the lip and place in the mouth.  But we do realise that this is not always an option, it can therefore be added to food and is just as effective.

Our herbal remedies are made with fluid extracts, these are concentrated herbal solutions that use high alcohol content to pull the chemical constituents out of the herb. Fluid extracts are the strongest herbal preparations you can get, therefore you don't have to use much, so for most pets you give fewer drops.  Because of the herbal content they don't have a nice taste, so adding to food is best.  If you are worried about the alcohol content, you can put the remedy in warm to hot water to start with, this will burn off the alcohol content.

Dosage:  4 drops per 10kgs, 2 times daily. For optimum results should be used for up to 6 weeks.
