Millstream Gardens Millstream Gardens - Athletes foot Balm - [30ml] $10.50

A blend of herbal and essential oils, traditionally used to ease the irritation of Athlete's Foot, and to promote healing. You may like to try soaking in a foot bath with cider vinegar in it, pat dry, then apply the balm. Cotton socks and footwear that can breath will help too. We've had feedback that this is good for other fungal problems too.

When our children were small, a jar of ‘Magic Green Ointment’ would fix almost every injury! It’s the remedy we use when we’re not sure what to use, and it always seems to help.

Among its many healing properties, it is reputed to soothe insect bites and stings, skin rashes, eczema, poor circulation, bruises, wounds, burns, aches and pains. While we wait for our plants to mature, we are fortunate to have access to our friend's Hamish and Mathilda's bush block at Tirohia Farm, where we can gather Kawakawa and Titoki.

Millstream Gardens Millstream Gardens - Plantain & Chickweed Ointment - [60ml] $11.90

Both these plants grow wild, and contain natural anti-histamines, they are cooling and soothing. They are used for the relief of itching, rashes, allergic skin reactions and insect bites and stings. We’ve had good feedback, that when used on the rashes of Chicken Pox and Measles, the Chicken Pox blisters went down over night, leaving hardly a mark, and itching was greatly relieved. Can also be used on ulcers as a gentle healer.

Formulated over a number of years, we have created this cream to help with psoriasis. People who have tried it have had mixed results, some almost overnight and some taking several months, but most report steady progress. It’s a complex mix with many oils in it. Of course it doesn’t suit everyone, but the feedback we are getting is very encouraging. For problem skins, apply to small test patch first to check for reaction.

A moisturising soap, enriched with Castor Oil, Elderflowers and Honey, its gentle lather will be kind to your face. Comes in an aluminium tin, so you can wet your shaving brush and foam it up in the tin. In hard water areas it does not foam as well, but still provides a protective sheen for your razor to glide over. No detergents or added foaming agents, so your skin will not get dried out.
